Website Privacy

This page covers the privacy posture of the site as a whole: what kind of publication it is, where outside infrastructure may be involved, and where responsibility changes once you leave it.

How the site is structured

Phainox is built to function as a mostly static publication. Readers should be able to access the archive without creating an account, maintaining a profile, or volunteering more information than ordinary browsing already exposes.

That is partly an editorial choice and partly a privacy one. A simpler site asks less from readers and leaves less operational clutter behind.

Third-party services

Like most websites, Phainox may rely on hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, advertising, or similar infrastructure services. When those services are active, they may process limited technical information as part of doing their job.

Not every provider sees the same information, and not every service is always enabled. Their handling is governed partly by this site's configuration and partly by their own systems and terms.

External links and updates

Once you follow a link to another service, that service's privacy practices apply. Review them before submitting personal information or turning on features there.

This notice may be revised when the site changes, when service dependencies change, or when the description can be made more exact.
